Jeff has a good post on his personal experience with Twitter.

I have to admit: a year ago Matt told me he thought Twitter was going to be all the rage at SXSW, so I tried it and thought it was pointless and something only the Web 2.0 crowd would ever use.

I now think I was wrong.
