I posted a little bit back about the notion of getting premium content distributed to the edge of the web. Everywhere I turn these days I see a tangent of this theme (“when you are a hammer everything looks like a nail).
One such example is the recent announcement of GlamTV, whereby Glam is licensing premium video programming and offering its publishing partners the opportunity to distribute this programming. Smart move.
Expect to see lots more of this — it makes sense for the owners of the content, 3d party publishers, and viewers.
